In April I played one of lead roles in a short film "Potluck", due to be released in June 2016.
"Although ‘Potluck’ may seem like a tense, mysterious drama, much more pressing themes are present at the core of the plot. This ten-minute short will target taboo issues in Indian culture, such as homosexuality, divorce and inter-racial relationships and will draw attention to the way that these issues can sometimes be seen as shameful. The film aims to change old-fashioned opinions, or at least to make people think twice. Both the main characters are fighting an internal battle between their culture and their happiness. The film will ask audiences to consider which is more important." Niki Kalhan
